Through the generosity of alumni and friends, The University of Toledo College of Law is able to offer scholarship assistance to a substantial number of its students. Scholarships are awarded by the Admissions and Scholarship Committee and approximately fifty renewable scholarships are awarded each year. All law students who did not enter the College of Law with scholarship assistance, but who achieve a top ten ranking may receive scholarship assistance. Returning student scholarships are awarded in July for the following academic year and may not appear on your initial financial aid award notification. Renewable scholarships are based on the student’s GPA.

External Scholarships

Each year, the UT Law Financial Aid Office is notified of external scholarships that are offered through various nation-wide groups. You must notify the UT Law Financial Aid Office, if you are the recipient of any external scholarship or tuition assistance.

In addition to these scholarships, students may want to take advantage of free scholarship search services that are available on the web. http://www.fastweb.com,  http://www.collegeanswer.com, and http://www.collegeboard.com are reputable services that are available. Beware of any service that asks for money or credit card information before conducting the scholarship search.
