Colorado Judicial Clerkship Contact Information

Clerkships at the Colorado Supreme Court are full-time positions for one year beginning in August - September of each year. The Justices hire their own law clerks. Please see the information provided below for the details on applying for a clerkship in each Justice's chambers. The current salary for clerkships is $48,096 per year. Applicants must have completed at least 4 semesters of law school prior to submitting application materials. You must submit application materials to each Justice individually: Colorado Supreme Court, 2 E. 14th Ave., Denver, CO 80203.

Colorado Court of Appeals (http://www.courts.state.co.us/coa/coalawclerks.htm)

Clerkships at the Colorado Court of Appeals are either a one year appointment beginning in September of each year or are longer-term appointments, at the discretion of the hiring judge. Service with the same appellate judge for more than one year will provide additional paid benefits and the opportunity for future annual salary increases.
Each judge hires his or her own law clerks.
